Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions applicable to the refund and cancellation of subscriptions, tokens, and other associated services offered by Sensoreal (ARAM PERCEPTION EXPERIENCES AND TECHNOVATIONS LLP). This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any user engaging in our services agrees to be bound by the terms outlined herein.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Subscription Cancellation Notice

To avoid the renewal of subscriptions, users must notify Sensoreal of their intent to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the subscription's expiration or renewal date. Notifications can be submitted through the account dashboard, via email at hello@sensoreal.in, or any official contact channels provided by Sensoreal.

1.2 After-Effects of Cancellation

Upon successful cancellation:

 

Tokens Validity:

Tokens issued during the canceled subscription retain their validity until their respective 84-day expiration period lapses. Any unused tokens beyond this period will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, redeemed, or revalidated.

 

Cancellation Confirmation:

Users will receive written confirmation of their cancellation via email or other official communication.

 

1.3 Failed or Late Cancellations

Renewal Liability:

If a cancellation request is received less than 48 hours before the subscription renewal, the subscription will renew as per the original terms, and cancellation will apply only to subsequent cycles.

 

Sensoreal is not liable for subscription charges arising due to delayed or incomplete cancellation requests from the user.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Initial Onboarding 30-Day Refund Policy

During the initial 30 days after onboarding:

Users canceling their subscription are eligible for a full refund of unused services or tokens.

Refunds for this period are processed to the original payment method (e.g., debit/credit card, UPI) within 7-14 business days from approval.

2.2 Refunds beyond the initial 30 Days

Refund requests after the initial 30 days will be processed in the form of Token Withdrawal Receipts (TWRs) or Coupons for unused tokens. These are:

  • Equal to the equivalent value of unused tokens.

  • Usable for future service redemptions through Sensoreal within the standard 84-day token validity period.

  • Non-refundable in cash or bank transactions post-issuance.

 

2.3 Refunds and Intellectual Property (IP)

a. IP Restrictions:

Refunds will automatically void any intellectual property transfer agreements for deliverables created with the refunded tokens.

The user is prohibited from using, sharing, publishing, or reproducing any deliverables tied to refunded tokens under legal liability.

b. Partial Usage Clause:

If a project has been partially completed and the user requests a refund, the refund will cover only the unused portion of the allocated tokens.

3. Expiry and Token Validity Rules

3.1 Token Expiry

Tokens must be redeemed or utilized within 84 days of their issuance. Any tokens not used within this time will be deemed expired and cannot be redeemed, refunded, or revalidated under any circumstances.

3.2 Coupon and Token Withdrawal Receipt Usage

Token Withdrawal Receipts or Coupons:

  • Have the same validity period of 84 days from their issue date.

  • Are usable only against services offered at the time by Sensoreal.

  • Expired tokens or coupons cannot be reinstated or compensated in cash or services.

4. Non-Refundable and Non-Cancellable Circumstances

Refunds and cancellations will not be entertained in the following cases:

a. Expired Tokens:

Tokens that exceed their 84-day validity period are non-refundable.

b. Delivered and Accepted Projects:

Any projects or deliverables accepted by the user through active engagement cannot be refunded under any terms.

c. Intellectual Property Transfer:

Projects where intellectual property rights were already transferred to the user will not qualify for refunds or partial refunds.

d. Breach of Service Agreement:

Any misuse or violations of Sensoreal’s service terms or agreements or payment delays and defaulting void eligibility for refunds or cancellation.

5. Processing Refund Requests

5.1 Timeframes for Refunds

a. Monetary Refunds for the onboarding period:

Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 7-14 business days upon approval.

b. Token Coupon Issuance:

Issued electronically within 7-8 business days after request verification.

 

5.2 Request Submission and Validation

Refund requests must be submitted via email at hello@sensoreal.in with the following details:

  • Subscription details, including start and cancellation dates.

  • Reasons for refund requests.

  • Any proof of unused tokens, if applicable.

6. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law

6.1 Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes arising out of or related to this Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

 

6.2 Dispute Forums

Any disputes under this Policy will be settled exclusively in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Both parties agree to mediate disputes amicably before proceeding to legal forums.

 

6.3 Limitation of Liability

Sensoreal's liability under this Policy is limited strictly to the value of unused services or tokens as determined under its terms.
